We are a real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily apartment communities. We buy apartment communities and increase their value through renovations and operational efficiencies.
How we do it
We syndicate our purchases which allow others to contribute capital becoming investors who earn an ongoing return and benefit from tax advantages. We are the sponsor team that manages the day-to-day operations and ensure the business plan is on track.
Who we are
We are a team dedicated to becoming experts at our craft of multifamily investing. We work with experienced property managers, contractors, and lenders to make sure our investment is well cared for.
Get to know us
I founded Volcan when I was 18 in a small bedroom. Back then, it was simply a holding company for a duplex that I recently bought as my first investment. At the time I knew real estate was my passion, but I didn't know the first thing about maintenance, tenants, or professional investing. All I knew was that if my tenants paid their rent (they didn't) I would cashflow about $1000 per month on this building. Even then, although I was blissfully ignorant, I had a vision of what I wanted my company to be. I wanted much more than a holding company, I wanted an investment firm. I wanted to have an impact on others.
Fast forward a few years, I have a small multifamily portfolio. I've done countless evictions, remodeled countless apartments myself, got my real estate license for sales, became a professional property manager, and ended up doing numerous flips and wholetails at the same time. I was doing bigger things, but I still wasn't where I wanted to be. I worked all day every day and I was not seeing the fruits of my labor. I was only incurring more expenses, issues, and turnover.
I started searching for a better way. I finally decided to dig into larger multifamily which, previous to this, I believed to be too complex. I learned more about larger multifamily communities and how the game was played differently. I learned about syndicating and how I could help others grow with me. I fell in love.
Today, I've created my investment firm to follow my passion, multifamily investing, and to help others achieve financial freedom as well. I created the Multifamily Mastery Meetup, a meetup in Allentown, PA that focuses on multifamily investing. My firm is expanding and our goals are growing with it.

Cole Farrell
Cole Farrell is a full-time investor in real estate and is the founder of Volcan Capital where he owns a portfolio of apartments in PA. Cole has been involved in nearly all aspects of real estate. He has a real estate license in PA where he did professional property management and construction for 2 years, plus owns a flipping/wholetail company for singles and small multifamily properties. Cole has earned a bachelor's degree in finance as well as a master's degree in Administration. He is the host of the “Multifamily Mastery Meetup”, the largest local multifamily real estate investment association with several chapters under the brand and an online branch.
